Choice Language Services began back in November 1998 as a simple desk and a telephone in the corner of an office occupied by a recruitment company, in Stevenage, England. "One thing I have found in this industry, is that it is well known for freelance translators to get paid only when the end client pays" Says Mike Taylor. "We therefore took a 'policy' decision that all our translators will be paid according to their terms. It's worked very well, because we have linguists that are aware of our policy and can't wait to join our team. This means that we have built up a large 'stable' of excellent quality linguists all over the world, in a relatively short space of time."
